A Private Path to the Falls
David Livingstone, intrepid explorer, siting the Falls for the
first time from his dugout canoe, in November 1855, could hardly
believe his eyes at such a spectacle. It is widely accepted that
it was he who brought the discovery to the rest of the world;
the Falls were named after his Queen Empress, Victoria.
The hotel has its own private path to the Victoria
Falls, which is less than a 10 minute walk away. |
